Our client, a global organiser, seeks a Sales Director with commercial experience at senior level to head up the sales team on a key portfolio of about 10 regional events, as well as any future launch events. With the ability to thrive in a fast paced, multi-project environment, ensuring revenue targets are met and effective lines of communication maintained between the Sales Team and Senior Management you will drive the strategy and growth of the business and develop insight-led commercial strategies to ensure revenue growth. You will be competent at the research and insights stage and are able to identify new market opportunities to extend targets and organic growth. With day to day management of both locally based and remote sales teams you will need proven leadership abilities to consistently motivate your team, carry out annual appraisals and have an international mind-set with an appreciation of cultural differences. This is a high level role requiring a dynamic and confident personality who has a track record of operating in difficult economic climates and changing market places and is not afraid of a challenge.
