A global event company working within the hospitality sector are now looking for a Head of Sales to join them in their Saudi office. Their customers are senior level hospitality investors, owners, developers, operators and advisory firms. They work across key industries in the hospitality sector. Their events are known for providing the platform to do deals and drive real estate developments across the region. They are looking for a Sales Leader who has proven ability to execute an ambitious sales strategy. You must be able to inspire a team and lead a sales campaign working in partnership with all other stakeholders within the business.
The Opportunity The right candidate will be inspired by growth and have proven their ability to take a small business to the next level. They will be able to clearly demonstrate experience of managing a team, recruiting, training and developing them to exceed expectations on revenue goals, open up new revenue streams all while also maximising revenue from a range of existing clients. They will be an active salesperson as well as manager and have the right attributes to deliver under pressure as well as maintaining the highest standards while always putting the customer first.
Reporting directly to the Commercial Director and indirectly to the Portfolio Director you will be accountable for the achievement of revenue targets on Future Summits.
Campaign & Product Development
Develop the annual go-to-market sales campaign for the flagship Confex
Work collaboratively with production, marketing and operations teams to drive and manage the campaign.
Develop, in collaboration with the event team members, new products (including digital where applicable) to sell to our clients.
By working closely with the Client Success team to ensure excellent client outcomes, customer satisfaction metrics and 90%+ client retention levels.
Provide timely and accurate forecasts to the Commercial Director and other relevant stakeholders.
Be able to demonstrate an ability to leverage and interpret analytics and data to control the sales campaign.
Monitor and discuss key analytics throughout the sales campaign, with a view to using data to help maximise the value of long-term client relationships, increase retention and identify optimum strategies and market segments for generating new business.
Sales Team Management
Recruit and onboard a team of Sales Managers and Execs who will report directly to you and support achievement of the company's revenue goals.
Manage the sales team day-to-day and deal with any personnel issues.
Run weekly forecasting sessions with Sales Managers to provide accurate weekly and monthly forecasts/reviews of ongoing sales campaigns.
Key Account / Personal Sales
Be the key Sponsorship lead for FHS, closing major big-ticket deals to contribute to the achievement of the targets set by the Commercial Director.
Work collaboratively with other Sales Directors to coordinate the sales of key accounts and to upsell.
Develop your own personal brand within the industry - leading industry podcasts and being present through social media. .
